NEET PG counselling 2025: MCC begins round 1 choice filling today at mcc.nic.in

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the Round 1 choice-filling window for NEET PG Counselling 2025, initiating the centralised allotment process for MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats under the All-India Quota and central universities. The choice-filling phase, which began on November 17, will run until November 18, followed by the processing and release of the first allotment list on November 20. This year’s schedule has been compressed to accommodate pending updates to the seat matrix and align with the academic calendar. Candidates who have already completed registration must now submit and lock their preferences within the stipulated time. Reporting and document verification will continue until November 30 as per the counselling timeline.

NEET PG choice filling and locking: What MCC has directed

The MCC has instructed candidates to ensure accurate and final submission of course and college preferences, as choice locking will close on November 18. Important procedural points:

  • Once locked, choices cannot be modified.
  • In the absence of manual locking, the system may auto-lock the last saved choices.
  • Preferences must be arranged strictly in the desired order of priority.

Candidates are advised to review seat availability, fee structures, and reservation criteria before finalising choices.
