Several people are said to have died after an explosion ripped through a bar in a popular Swiss ski resort.
The blast happened at 1.30am local time just as revellers were ringing in the New Year at the Le Constellation bar.
Swiss outlet Blick reports the blaze may have begun when fireworks were let off inside during a concert.
Social media footage shows scenes of the subsequent fire from outside the venue – with crowds rushing out and emergency services rushing in.
Police spokesman Gaetan Lathion confirmed: “There has been an explosion of unknown origin… There are several injured, and several dead.”
